Abstract

It is a common practice in the built environment that prior to construction of a neighborhood settlement, pertinent infrastructures are physically planned and organized to facilitate future developments. In cases where services and facilities like roads, sewer connection and drainage systems are subsequent to housing developments, it will always remain a challenge to superimpose them on the existing. Peleng neighborhood in Lobatse suffers from this circumstances. The paper then analyzed these problems and proposed mitigation.
